We a looking for Graduate Quantity Surveyors to embark on a career with us. You will be given the opportunity to learn about the wider business and spend time developing your knowledge and skills through our Paye Passport Programme and ongoing training relevant to your role.
Graduate Quantity Surveyor will work under the supervision of the Associate Director to manage their workload ensuring that the valuation process is undertaken on all projects and manage any scope change where required in the set time scales.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting senior members of the team in the day-to-day management and delivery of projects.
  • Undertaking building surveys and inspections.
  • Carrying out measurement, pricing, and valuation of post contract variation.
  • Ensuring the application process is undertaken from submission, certification to payment being received.
  • Management and administration of sub-contractor accounts throughout the project up to final account stage.
  • Checking and approving sub- contractor applications and invoices on a monthly basis together with payment notices as required, to meet agreed payment terms.
  • Attending site visits as necessary.
  • Attending project client progress, design and commercial meetings as required.
  • We are looking for:
  • Degree qualified in related subject or 2 years’ experience in construction.
  • Proficient IT skills including Microsoft products, such as Word, Excel and Microsoft Project.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to learn and implement commercial processes.
