About the Graduate Programs Team
We’re a close-knit, collaborative group supporting five dynamic graduate programs at the heart of Ted Rogers School of Management. In partnership with the Yeates School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies (YSGPS) we ensure our students thrive from admission to graduation.
Our team wears many hats—and proudly so. Our administrative team ensures students receive timely support with their academic needs, while our careers and engagement team is dedicated to delivering an exceptional graduate student experience.

We’re currently seeking an individual who is excited to contribute to both recruitment and program administration. This role provides comprehensive administrative support to Graduate Programs, Graduate Students, and the Director of Graduate Program Administration.

Here is what you can expect to do in this role:

  • Monitoring and supporting data management practices, including the tracking of student and applicant progress, along with the secure and efficient management of applicant data throughout the recruitment and admissions process.
  • Managing program communications for current students and prospective applicants, including maintaining web content, and preparing newsletters, announcements, and informational materials to support engagement and awareness.
  • Leading recruitment webinars and representing the program at university fairs and information sessions.
  • Supporting the planning and execution of all graduate program events, including orientation, convocation, and program-specific activities throughout the academic year.
  • Responsible for scheduling and coordinating thesis defenses, candidacy exams, proposal defenses, and final dissertation submissions for research-based MScM and PhD in Management programs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in data management and monitoring, preferably within an academic or student services environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate events such as thesis defenses
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for managing program communications and engaging with students and applicants
  • Proficiency in maintaining and updating web content and other digital communication platforms
  • Experience leading and/or facilitating webinars, presentations, or similar virtual events
  • Comfortable representing programs at external events such as university fairs and information sessions
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with diverse stakeholder groups
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management skills and the initiative to identify and solve problems while managing multiple priorities
  • Familiarity with graduate program processes and academic terminology is an assetBasic skills in planning and supporting program initiatives
