As a Graduate Registered Nurse, you will work closely with other health professionals in multi-disciplinary teams. Helping Hand is seeking enthusiastic candidates with a passion for enabling older people to live their best lives by demonstrating our core values in everything we do: Compassion, Respect, Excellence and Community. This innovative Graduate Registered Nurse Program consists of the following: Year 1 – Enrolment in the ANMEC Transition to Professional Practice Program which is fully funded by Helping Hand. You will be supported by our Learning Pathways team, registered nurses and on-site manager. Graduates will be required to attend one day of paid training every three to four weeks off site (Port Pirie Adelaide University campus). Travel will be required to attend these training days. Year 2 is a specialised individual program to focus on your Clinical areas of interest and expertise throughout the program you will be able to apply for additional study support. What you’ll bring To succeed in this role, you will have: Bachelor of Nursing qualification Current AHPRA registration An interest in the Aged Care sector The ability to operate smartphones and apps (such as Microsoft Outlook) Valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or be willing to obtain one Hold a valid and current Driver’s Licence as you will be required to travel to Port Pirie Adelaide University campus for training days.
