Description
Company Description Assystem is an international company with one mission: accelerate the energy transition around the world. Every day, our 8,000+ switchers located in 12 countries (Europe, Middle East, Pacific Asia & Africa) connect their six thousand billion neurons to tackle the task of the century: switching to low-carbon energy. We are a collective committed to making the energy switch. Sharing our knowledge, expertise and values allows us to innovate and think differently about the energy transition. Here is how you can be a part of that switch: Job Description Our two-year Graduate Programme is designed to get you up to speed quickly, give you exposure to live projects, and help you develop both technical and professional skills. You’ll benefit from: Access to mentors and technical experts Peer-to-peer learning through Graduate Forums An upskilling framework tailored to your development The opportunity to rotate across industries, customers, and locations Over the two-year self-directed programme, you’ll gain a unique insight into the nuclear industry. This starts with broad exposure across teams and customers and evolves into discipline-focused work that aligns with your career ambitions. Within our programme, there will be opportunities to rotate through different teams and projects to help grow your knowledge, skills and behaviours. Qualifications We’re looking for graduates who have (or are expecting) a degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Science, or a closely related discipline and who are interested in developing a career in nuclear safety within highly regulated environments. If you’re curious about how safety is designed into complex systems, enjoy structured problem-solving, and want to understand how risk is assessed, justified, and managed across the full lifecycle of nuclear facilities, this could be the ideal next step for you. Additional Information To join our Graduate Scheme, you must be a UK sole national and a UK resident, as this is required for the type of work we do. You’ll also need to be able to obtain a minimum of Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance, with some roles requiring higher levels of clearance. As part of the programme, you should also be willing to relocate or travel within the UK, and we’ll provide relocation support where needed. More information on the security vetting process and clearance levels can be found on the UK Government website: National Security Vetting: clearance levels Recruitment Process After submitting your application, you’ll receive confirmation of next steps. If successful at screening, one of our recruitment team will call you to discuss: Your application and eligibility Your passion for energy transformation Your interest in and knowledge of your chosen discipline Successful applicants will then be invited to attend an in-person assessment centre at one of our UK offices.
