Description

As Graduate Sales Development Representative, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the continued success of the Teer Coatings Ltd, securing customers with PVD Coating and/or PVD Coating Equipment needs that can be fulfilled with the Company’s industry leading product and service range. This role will require the successful applicant to secure profitable business with customers within both new and existing market sectors, offering suitable solutions to meet their requirements.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND CHARACTERISTICS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM – Engineering or Material Science preferred.
  • Clean driving licence.
  • Ability to persuade and influence – to build strong working relationships, both internally and externally.
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Flexible in approach, to adapt procedures to a new and more effective way of working.
  • Organised, with the ability to prioritise workload.
  • Motivated to exceed sales targets.
  • Self-starter, with the ability to use own initiative.
  • Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
    Salary: £28,000.00 to £30,000.00 per annum (dependent on experience).

Responsibilities
  • Office based, with travel required (approximately 25% of time).
  • Prospecting to identify new sales opportunities for capital scientific equipment.
  • Establish technical requirements of customers, prepare and issue quotations accordingly.
  • Maintain and keep up to date the Sales Enquiries/Opportunity pipelines on Company CRM system.
  • Reach out to current customers on regular basis for feedback and to ensure optimal satisfaction.
  • Organise and attend sales conferences (2-3 per year).
  • Road trips across regions to perform on-site demonstrations of the product.
  • Support marketing activities and prepare digital content working with Technical Manager.
  • Carry out administrative duties relating to the Sales and Marketing function.
  • Identify opportunities and action plans to increase market share.
  • Undertake on-site system installations, when required
  • Develop new processes and procedures for sales activities.
  • Undertake reasonable additional duties, as requested.
