GRADUATE SEMH TEACHING ASSISTANT

Are you a graduate with aspirations of becoming a therapist, psychologist or counsellor?
If so, this Graduate SEMH Teaching Assistant position will be the perfect stepping-stone for you to gain experience and kick-start your future career! As part of this role, you will be responsible for leading both 1:1 and group support sessions for students with varying SEMH needs.
As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will have the chance to work alongside highly skilled and knowledgeable teachers, SENCO, and SLT. You will receive valuable support and guidance as you make a positive impact on the lives of multiple students, helping them with their academic and social development.

Responsibilities:

GRADUATE SEMH TEACHING ASSISTANT ROLE AND SCHOOL DETAILS:

  • Graduate SEMH Teaching Assistant
  • Assisting students across KS3, KS4 & KS5
  • Working alongside teachers to deliver the curriculum
  • Assisting students with varying SEMH needs (Trauma, Anxiety, Depression etc)
  • May involve working with SEN needs (ASD, ADHD, SP&L etc)
  • ASAP Start - Full-time position
  • £105 - £110 per day - Term time only
  • Located within Camden
  • Knowledgeable SENCO to work alongside
