Responsibilities

GRADUATE SEN TEACHING ASSISTANT – ROLE OVERVIEW:

  • Support pupils with SEN in both 1:1 and small group settings
  • Lead structured interventions and scaffolded learning activities
  • Help maintain strong behaviour management strategies in line with school policies
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents
  • Assist with lesson delivery and adapt resources to support learning
  • Monitor pupil progress and report to class teachers and SENCO
  • Contribute to the inclusive ethos and wider school environment
  • Work closely with external agencies and SEND professionals when needed
