The Role We’re looking for a Property Graduate (Pre-Admission Law Clerk) or Solicitor to join our market-leading Property team, based in our Tauranga office. This role is ideal for someone starting their legal career who is keen to build practical experience across property and private client matters. You’ll work alongside experienced lawyers on a range of transactions and advisory work, assisting with matters such as property purchases and sales, trusts, asset protection structures, and estate planning. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to client work while developing your legal drafting, research, and file management skills. With strong mentoring and support from the team, you’ll progressively take on greater responsibility as your experience grows and build a solid foundation for a career in property and private client law. What You’ll Bring A completed NZ Law Degree (or close to completion for pre-admission candidates) 0–2 years’ experience or interest in property or private client law Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work Excellent written and verbal communication skills A proactive and collaborative approach to learning and development The ability to manage tasks effectively while working closely with senior team members Our Property Team (including Private Client) works incredibly well together and enjoys collaborating with other teams across the firm and our offices.
