Bennett and Game are representing an opportunity for a Graduate or Junior Structural Engineer to join a respected civil and structural engineering consultancy delivering a wide variety of building projects in Cardiff. As a Structural Engineer, you will gain hands-on experience across residential, commercial, mixed-use and heritage schemes, working from surveys and feasibility through to detailed design and construction support.
You will be mentored by Chartered Engineers and supported toward professional membership. The role blends structural calculations, BIM modelling, report writing and site experience, giving you a solid foundation in the design and analysis of building structures.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• BEng/MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering
• A master’s degree or a year’s worth of consultancy experience is preferable
• Understanding of structural principles, materials and design codes
• Familiarity with structural analysis/design software (e.g. Tedds, Tekla Structural Designer, Robot, Revit)
• Strong attention to detail with clear written and verbal communication
• Organised and proactive, able to support multiple projects
• Commitment to working toward IStructE or ICE professional membership
• Full UK driving licence desirable for site visits
