THE OPPORTUNITY

We are a seeking talented Graduate Structural Engineers to join the Boeing Defence Australia Graduate Program in in January 2026. This program offers graduates a permanent full-time position, providing a solid career foundation from day one.

Graduate opportunities are available in Adelaide, Brisbane and Williamtown across a range of engineering business units at Boeing which include:

  • E-7A Wedgetail - The centrepiece of Australia’s national air defence capability, incorporating powerful airborne surveillance, communications and battle management capability.
  • MQ-28 Ghost Bat - Development and integration of mission systems for uncrewed teaming aircraft designed to be a force multiplier in support of advanced multi-mission air combat operations.
  • Sustainment Operations - Maintenance, repair, overhaul and upgrades of military aircraft including F/A-18F Super Hornets, CH-47F Chinooks and P-8A Poseidons, as well as training design and delivery.
  • Joint Systems - Design, development and sustainment of defence communications systems and networks.

As aGraduate Structural Engineer you will:

  • Provide engineering support for air vehicle structures over the product lifecycle.
  • Conduct technical investigations and resolve product defects.
  • Disposition problem reports generated from ground and flight testing.
  • Develop air vehicle modification kits through collaboration with design and maintenance teams.
  • Develop engineering documentation (e.g. instructions, manuals, procedures and risk assessments) to support the ongoing product operation and maintenance.
  • Communicate and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team in a conscientious and inclusive way.

EDUCATION

Applicants must hold a tertiary degree qualification in engineering, computer science or information technology (or have an anticipated graduation date before January 2026).
