Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Graduate Structural Engineer, contribute to the successful execution of projects by collaborating with the structural team and supporting the development of innovative structural designs. You will have the opportunity to learn and grow while assisting in the analysis, drafting, and documentation processes, helping to ensure that all projects are completed to the highest standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Structural Design: Assist in the design of medium and high-rise buildings, including post-tensioning applications, under the supervision of senior engineers.
  • Project Contributions: Undertake specific components of design for allocated projects, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and client requirements.
  • Engineering Reports: Prepare and contribute to the development of engineering reports that articulate design rationale and project progress.
  • Project Planning: Assist in developing project plans, coordinating timelines, and ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Software Utilisation: Use engineering software, including Inducta, Space Gass, and RAPT, to support the design process and enhance project outcomes.
  • Drafting Oversight: Collaborate with and provide guidance to drafting staff in the preparation of design drawings, ensuring accuracy and quality in technical documentation.
