Bexhill College is a vibrant and growing Sixth Form College. We have an opportunity for a graduate in Business Studies and/or Economics to train as a teacher through our teacher training programme.
We are looking for a well-qualified graduate will to teach across Level 3 Business Courses including A level, T Level in Marketing, and Level 2 Business. Students from our Business Studies courses have excellent success rates and a high level of progression to university studying Business/Economics related degrees. The subject area offers a range of extra-curricular activities as well as offering work related learning opportunities through its developing links with local industries.
A graduate teacher role provides the opportunity for graduates to train as a teacher whilst working in the Sixth Form College setting. This involves undertaking the Certificate in Education (PGCE) which is delivered at the College in association with the University of Brighton. The College pays the fees for the Course on behalf of the Graduate Teacher.
This post is suitable for newly qualified graduates or graduates with industry/work experience in the Economics and Business sector who are looking for a career change. The successful candidate will have the potential to become an innovative teacher who makes Economics and Business exciting and stimulating subjects for students.
