We are currently recruiting on a Graduate Teaching Assistant role for a long term contract to start in September
The Graduate Teaching Assistant opportunity would suit a University graduate now looking for some secondary school experience before training to be a teacher. The school has a School Direct teacher programme and this role could lead to being accepted onto this for the following year.

WHAT ARE THE SCHOOL LOOKING FOR?

• Confident and self-assured, ready to get stuck in helping young people with emotional difficulties in their learning
• Seeking a long term Graduate Teaching Assistant role starting September
• Previous experience working with young people in any capacity
• Ability to manage mildly challenging behaviour
• Good communication skills with children and adults alike
  All Graduate Teaching Assistants in recent years have thrived at this school and most have gone on to train to be teachers either at the school or via PGCE and other routes.
