Full-time | £480–£520 per week (term time only)

Step Into Teaching is working with a well-regarded secondary school in Hockley, currently looking to appoint Graduate Teaching Assistants for the new academic year. These full-time positions are ideal for aspiring teachers and offer a direct route into school-based teacher training within the trust.

The Opportunity:

  • Role: Graduate Teaching Assistant (Secondary)
  • Responsibilities: 1:1 and small group support in core subjects
  • Location: Hockley, Essex
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday (term time only)
  • Pay: £480–£520 per week
  • Progression: Pathway into teacher training offered

Requirements:

  • A 2:2 or above in any honours degree
  • Strong academic background in English, Maths, or Science (GCSE grade C/4 or above)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
