STEP INTO TEACHING HAVE AN AMAZING OPPORTUNITY FOR A GRADUATE TO WORK IN A WONDERFUL SECONDARY SCHOOL BASED IN HAYES AS A GRADUATE TEACHING ASSISTANT.

The school are seeking for a bright, creative and dynamic individual who have an interest in potentially becoming teachers in the future but would first like to gain classroom experience first before fully committing to any teacher programme.

The Opportunity:

  • Wonderful secondary school based in Hayes
  • Full-time role Monday to Friday
  • September Start
  • £540 - £570 weekly (Term time only)
  • Chance to gain classroom experience and build your confidence before teacher training
  • Work with pupils from a variety of backgrounds

The successful graduate must:

  • Have a degree (2:2 or above)
  • Have strong subject knowledge within English Maths and Science (GCSE A* - C)
  • Have a DBS on the update service (preferred not essential)
  • Be passionate about supporting children with their learning
  • The ability to keep students engaged and motivated
  • Be enthusiastic, friendly and confident
  • Be able to commit for the full academic year (until July 2025)
  • Be able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Have strong communication skills
  • Have good behaviour management skills
  • A commitment to helping children reach their full potential

You will be working with classroom teacher to help support student’s learning in addition to providing a safe and inclusive environment where all student’s needs are established and valued. Additionally, you will lead both 1:1 and small groups outside the classroom to give that extra support to pupils who are both struggling and overachieving in the classroom to help them reach their full potential.
