Job Description What’s the role? Are you ready to be the go-to person for cutting-edge recycling technology? Join the Product Expert Team at TOMRA Collection Australia, where we’re turning bottles into opportunities and making sustainability exciting! You’ll be the technical superhero behind our Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs) and BottleCycler solutions. Think of yourself as the bridge between innovation and action helping our partners and internal teams keep things running smoothly and efficiently. Some of the duties you may perform include: Be the first point of contact for all things technical supporting our machines and making sure everyone’s happy. Work with awesome teams across Operations, Marketing, Supply Chain, Sales, and Business Development. Spot opportunities to make things better- whether it’s processes or products and lead the charge to improve them. Train our Technicians and Service Centre Operators so they’re confident and ready to tackle anything. Collaborate with our global crew in Norway and other markets to share ideas and drive innovation. Dive into data, report on machine performance, and keep us on track with SLAs. Test, tweak, and perfect hardware and software to keep our tech top-notch. Create training materials and documentation that make learning easy and fun. Support installations, deployments, and market testing because you love seeing things come to life. Keep safety front and centre with risk assessments and incident reporting. Qualifications What do you need to be a great Graduate Product Expert? Tertiary qualification in engineering (mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, or related field) or equivalent experience. Ability to maintain accurate engineering records, prepare reports, and follow compliance frameworks. Proficient in data analytics, leveraging tools such as SQL and Python to identify trends and investigate underlying issues, driving actionable insights. Comfortable using digital platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Salesforce, SFTP servers) to support cross-functional collaboration. Equipped with a systems engineering mindset with a focus on reliability, scalability, and performance optimisation. Capable of assisting with diagnostics and technical problem-solving, escalating complex issues as needed.
