• Recent graduate with a 2.1 or higher
• Three A to C grades at A-Level
• Confident with all Microsoft Applications including advanced Excel
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills

A QUICK LOOK AT THE ROLE

The Graduate Procurement Analyst will support the Procurement Team with data and analytics to help deliver targets and manage suppliers. This is an exciting role within our expanding Procurement function and offers great opportunities for progression.

YOUR CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and operate a good working knowledge of procurement processes and systems.
• Provide support in relation to supplier onboarding, record management, and supplier due diligence.
• Participate in spend categorisation, supplier segmentation and data cleansing
• Assist in the creation of product items and catalogues within the purchase to pay system (D365).
• Provide support to the procurement team on consolidated invoicing and PR/PO raising.
• Use data analytics to provide detailed reports in a readable and structured format on spend analytics, supplier compliance and risk management, enabling detailed project and strategy discussions.
• Support Biffa procurement with the delivery of the 80/2 Procurement Tendering Strategy.
• Identify and interpret trends in supply market and main characteristics of supplier base.
• Benchmark data for supply management activities.
• Attend internal and external meetings with suppliers and key stakeholders in relation to procurement activity.
