Responsibilities
  • Preparation of transport impact assessments and reports (TIAR’s)
  • Engaging in diverse engineering design tasks, including creating drawings, reports, presentations, and regulatory applications.
  • Designing road, intersection, and parking layouts in MicroStation.
  • Developing designs through sketches, electronic models, and diagrams, and preparing documentation for various engineering phases.
  • Performing calculations, spreadsheet assessments, and intersection analysis using SIDRA Intersection.
  • Collecting and analyzing data, such as traffic, parking, and crash data, using tools like Excel and PowerBI.
  • Communicating with clients and maintaining ongoing contact.
  • Adhering to Stantec Core Values and Quality, Safety & Environment Systems.
  • Developing proposals and bids to support business development.
  • Conducting site surveys, investigations, and feasibility studies, sometimes outside regular hours.
  • Minimizing and controlling risk through commitment to health and safety programs and project management systems
