As our Dunedin based Graduate Transport Planner, you will contribute to a variety of local and national transport projects for a diverse range of clients. You will be part of our large and experienced Dunedin Transport team, where you will be gaining and developing your technical and professional skills and knowledge as part of your transport planning journey. Your role will give you opportunities across our wider team, which can include the following types of work: Traffic Engineering: Master planning and design of transport facilities for new or modified transport facilities and land development, integrated transport assessment to understand transport related effects of development activities, data collection and transport studies, transport safety assessments. Transport Advisory: High-level planning strategies and policies to help analyse and develop transportation solutions, business cases, economic analysis of significant infrastructure projects. Modelling and Planning: Transport modelling to forecast multi-modal travel patterns or analyse traffic flows, developing macro simulations for operational and future scenarios. Infrastructure and Construction Management: Working with our Construction and Construction Monitoring engineers to undertake site visits and inspections, contract and program coordination, scheduling, and costing for infrastructure and roading projects. Your Role: Work across the entire project lifecycle, from concept to design and construction monitoring (onsite). Gain exposure to project management and client management.
