MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

SC Educator Credential Preferred
Dedication to building positive connections with students
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of effective and innovative instructional and student evaluation techniques
Experience working with an appropriate level of students preferred
Willingness to work with other teachers to promote interdisciplinary studies
Skill in developing interpersonal relationships with pupils, parents, teachers, staff, and the general public
Outstanding references from current and former supervisors
Satisfactory SLED (SC Law Enforcement Division) report
Salary Range: Support 1
Length of Contract: 200 days/8 hours
Starting Date: 2024 - 2025 School Year

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Conduct all Aspire & Raven Intake Meetings with new students and their parents
  • Coordinate with all secondary schools of RHSD as it relates to requirements of Aspire & Raven Intake Meetings
  • Provide interventions to students experiencing attendance issues and truancy
  • Supports building level administration with regards to students who are classified as McKinney Vento
  • Coordinate/collaborate with school level administration and teachers in an effort to support students
  • Support students be successful by assisting increasing student daily attendance
  • Contact students/parents when students are habitually absent
  • Conduct meetings with students to show how student attendance impacts to academic achievement
