Company Description KPN’s Mobile Networks organization is comprised of two departments: Mobile Core and Mobile Access. The Mobile Core team is responsible for the technologies that manage and control the network, including service provisioning and user authentication. The Mobile Access team ensures optimal user experience through robust coverage and capacity, achieved via our radio network. This team is involved in the design, construction, maintenance, planning, and optimization of our radio infrastructure. You will be assigned an internal mentor within the team where your graduation project will be conducted. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to gain insights and experience by observing other departments within the Mobile Networks organization. This achievement is the result of the continuous efforts of our network teams, who work tirelessly to improve and innovate our infrastructure. To maintain this level of excellence, we are constantly seeking talented individuals who can contribute to our mission including students interested in researching the future of telecommunications, IT, AI, and other fields related to mobile networks. A selection of your tasks as a graduation intern: You assist in building dashboards in PowerBI and Grafana; You analyze and visualize complex data sets; You contribute to determining the right indicators to monitor and the appropriate thresholds for alarms; You apply AI for tasks such as Anomaly Detection on network performance; You present your results to various departments to ensure they are incorporated into the business process. Qualifications We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial, curious, and critically thinking attitude. In addition, you recognize yourself in the following: You are pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in fields such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Science, or similar IT/Data-related studies. You speak and write English, and optionally Dutch. You enjoy working collaboratively, but can also work independently and take responsibility. You are available for at least three months and can work 2 days a week in the office in Rotterdam. You reside in the Netherlands.
