About the Role:  At Kalmbach Feeds, Inc. the Grain Accounting Specialist is an engaging position that allows an individual to have a real impact on the company’s bottom line. The Kalmbach Feeds Purchasing team requires a strong individual who is capable of relating to all areas of the business including Nutrition, Sales, Marketing, Purchasing and Production. This team member will protect the quality and integrity of our feed by helping to ensure the proper/accurate utilization of materials and resources. On a daily bases, this individual will record all transactions and receipts, proactively reconcile all usage, and challenge areas of discrepancies. Ultimately, the team maximizes productivity by helping to maintain the right materials in the right place at the right time. Primary Responsibilities * You are happy to work (8:00am – 5:00pm) with possible overtime and one Saturday per month from (8:00am – 12:00pm) * You acquire unique supply chain problem solving ability’s all while validating transfers and production reports  You will join a team that proactively coordinates inventory at all facility’s and process finished feed delivery tickets efficiently * You successfully facilitate information flow between nutrition, accounting and operations to support daily production functions, to avoid quality issues, and to pay vendors timely. * You accurately diagnose nonconformance’s in a timely manner to insure proper actions are taken for the future * You are capable of commuting to our corporate office located in Upper Sandusky, OH Who you are: · Self-directed with a desire to set goals and objectives without constant supervision · High sense of urgency and thoroughness, combined with internal customer focus · Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask · Ability to thrives in a fast pace work environment and takes pride in their work ethic · Strong analytical skills and enjoys solving problems as they present themselves · Exemplary verbal and written communication skills · Self-directed with a desire to set goals and objectives without constant supervision · High sense of urgency and thoroughness, combined with internal customer focus · Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask · Ability to thrives in a fast pace work environment and takes pride in their work ethic · Strong analytical skills and enjoys solving problems as they present themselves · Exemplary verbal and written communication skills About the Company:  The company was founded in 1963 by Milton and Ruth Kalmbach with a vision to develop the finest products, providing customers with the best possible value.
