Job Responsibilities Operate grain handling equipment including conveyors, elevators, and augers. Monitor and maintain grain quality during storage and transfer processes. Load and unload grain shipments from trucks, railcars, or barges. Perform regular inspections and maintenance of grain storage facilities and equipment. Assist in the preparation and mixing of grain blends as required. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures in all grain handling operations. Document and report any equipment malfunctions or grain quality issues to management. Maintain cleanliness and organization of grain storage areas and equipment. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and operations. Assist in inventory management and stock control of grain products. Perform other activities as directed by the Grain Operations Manager Requirements Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience in grain handling or agricultural operations preferred. Ability to operate and maintain grain handling equipment safely and efficiently. Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations in grain operations. Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor tasks. Excellent attention to detail and ability to monitor equipment and processes. Strong communication skills for effective coordination with team members. Basic mechanical skills for routine maintenance and troubleshooting. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed. Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including dust and noise. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.
