Job Details Job Location: Sterling, IL 61081 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $17.00 - $17.00 Hourly Job Category: Operator We are currently seeking a motivated individual who will be responsible for our outside grain operations. This is a a full time position at Rock River Lumber & Grain. You'll find a collaborative team atmosphere and a stable career that offers excellent benefits for full-time employees. Essential Duties & Responsibilities includes but not limited to the following: Assist in all aspects of the elevator operations Receive, dry and unload grain Measure grain inventory on a weekly/monthly basis Maintain grain conditions by testing temperatures and blending Perform equipment and facility maintenance including housekeeping records and cleanliness Provide prompt, professional and courteous customer service Benefits include: Paid time off and paid holidays Health and dental insurance Health savings account with company match 401k with company match life insurance with AD&D Employee discount Qualifications Required Qualifications Valid state motor vehicle operator's license (CDL beneficial) Must be able to move/life up to 50 pounds, occasionally more Ability to work outside throughout the entire year Sound mechanical abilities Ability to work and communicate in a team setting Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED) One year related experience Good computer skills Understand of the seasonality of an agricultural business and the in-season time commitment
