Description We’re looking for someone who likes active and hands-on work to join us as a Granite Shop Associate at Nonn’s. This position reports to the Shop Manager and works at our countertop fabrication facility in Springfield Corners (near the intersection of Highways 12 and 19 north of Middleton). In this role, you’ll learn new skills and handle a variety of duties to help us create residential and commercial countertops from granite and quartz slabs. The Granite Shop Associate works a full-time, first-shift schedule, Monday to Friday. Training provided. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Operate fabrication equipment in a safe manner following manufacturer’s procedures • Hand polish material within acceptable company standards • Maintain machines and hand tools on a daily basis • Maintain work area so that it is clean and neat at all times • May be assigned to jobs dedicated to loading, unloading, and yard maintenance. • Follow and enforce all safety policies and procedures Requirements EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
