Description
Provides program direction and support to the Charter Schools Program Grant on behalf of the Educational Options and Improvement Center of the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce: · Assists in coordinating schedules, and organizes complex activities such as stakeholder engagement meetings and work sessions; · Coordinates the planning and development of requests for proposals and serves as a point of contact for vendors; · Coordinates site visit scheduling and supports the CSP data from CSP grant site visits; · Serves as CSP liaison to the Office of Research, Evaluation and Analytics, coordinating collection and analysis of data; · Maintain and update CSP website · Coordinates the work of the CSP Steering Committee · Serves on various committees and task forces upon request of the Chief of Educational Options and Improvement, representing agency program areas or as a representative of the Senior Program Officer’s office; · Represents the Chief of Educational Options and Improvement at meetings & conferences with state, federal & community agencies; · Establishes and maintains cooperative relationships with senior and administrative staff with Department staff and constituencies; Other duties as assigned. Position requirements: Position Requirements The ideal candidate will be highly collaborative and able to work closely with the Grants Administrator to ensure efficient and compliant grant management processes.” · Knowledge of project management principles · Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) · Understanding of performance metrics and outcome reporting for funded programs. · Strong writing and editing skills for proposals, reports, and correspondence · Detail-oriented with strong organizational and recordkeeping Commitment to transparency, and accountability in funding practices. 4 yrs. trg. or 4 yrs. exp. in business administration management science or public administration. -Or completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, management science or public administration; 2 yrs. trg. or 2 yrs. exp. in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position. -Or completion of undergraduate core program in academic field commensurate with program area to be assigned per approved Position Description on file; 2 yrs. trg. or 2 yrs. exp. in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position or staff position involving planning, research &/or policy/procedure development. -Or 1 yr. exp. as Program Administrator 1, 63122. -Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above Job Skills: Program Management
