Overview Of Role
We are recruiting a pre-award Grant Development Manager to join Rothamsted Research in our Research Grants team within the larger Research Innovation and Grants Office (RIGO).
As the Grant Development Manager your main focus will be:
To thrive in this role, you should possess a resilient, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to pre-award grant administration/ management. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills are also essential. The successful candidate should have experience and ability to provide expert project costing, editorial and strategic/ compliance advice to enable research staff to secure increased research funding.
As the Grant Development Manager you will report to the Head of Research Grants and will work closely with colleagues within (RIGO) and the wider Rothamsted support services (finance, legal, human resources, knowledge exchange, communications) to ensure submission of the highest quality bids and provision of non-financial post award services.
Limited hybrid home working will be considered and agreed with the successful candidate.

This is initially a 3-year fixed term post, salary up to £41,438 per annum dependent on experience.
