Description Location: This position will consist of delivering programming within Cleveland Public Schools, Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA) Centers, as well as Cleveland Community Recreation Centers. Compensation: $20.00 per hour plus mileage The Grant Program Facilitator position is a casual, as-needed position responsible for providing leadership and supervision to girls ages 5–17 in assigned geographic areas, which include under-resourced communities. This role focuses on delivering high-quality program experiences in after-school and community center settings. Facilitators implement and deliver programs that align with the goals and objectives of Girl Scouts of North East Ohio (GSNEO) and meet the requirements of specific grant funding. In addition to program delivery, facilitators are responsible for maintaining and submitting accurate documentation to track and evaluate program success. Programs are designed to introduce, support, and enhance Girl Scout troop and group activities, helping to extend and maintain girl membership throughout the council area. Grant Program Facilitators play a key role in ensuring that girls receive meaningful, enriching experiences that reflect the mission and values of the Girl Scouts. Requirements MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES: Program Delivery: Delivers and implements a minimum of two (2) Girl Scout Leadership Experience (GSLE) programs per week within an assigned regional area throughout the school-year (excludes summer programming). Facilitator must be available to run programs daily, between 1:30 – 5:30 PM (this includes travel time). 1. Data Reporting: Accurately records and submits data on attendance and program outcomes in accordance with grant reporting requirements and deadlines. 2. Volunteer Support: Builds relationships with volunteers and caregivers to provide mentorship, ensure understanding of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience (GSLE) program, and support program delivery as needed. 3. Collaboration: Works closely with the Grants and Funded Initiatives Manager and Site Coordinators to remain informed and aligned with grant and program goals at assigned locations. 4. Program Support: Provides assistance and support for other GSNEO program initiatives as needed. 5. Commitment to DEIA: Actively embraces and integrates diversity, equity, inclusion, and access into all aspects of program work and council representation. 6. Other Duties: Performs additional duties as assigned to support the successful implementation of GSNEO’s mission, programs, and strategic goals. 7. Administrative Tasks: Completes weekly time logs and monthly expense reports using Paylocity financial management software. 8. Additional responsibilities as assigned by management. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience: • Associate degree or some college coursework preferred in education, social work, youth development, organizational leadership, or a related field. • Equivalent combination of relevant work experience (2–4 years) in youth programming or related areas will be considered. • Knowledge of the Girl Scout program is preferred. Skills and Abilities: • Strong interpersonal skills, including leadership, relationship-building, and networking. • Effective classroom and group management skills. • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a disciplined, self-directed work ethic. • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with tact, diplomacy, and professionalism. • Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines and arrive promptly at assigned locations. • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. • Demonstrated commitment to inclusiveness and equitable practices. • Exceptional customer service skills. Other Requirements: • Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and access to a reliable, insured vehicle in good working condition. • Flexibility to work varied hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, as needed.

Responsibilities
