ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Grant Worker to help bring exciting community-led ideas to life across Kirklees. You will be the friendly face of the grants programme - supporting local groups of all shapes and sizes to understand the programme, develop strong applications, and turn their ideas into reality.
This role involves building relationships with grassroots organisations and stakeholders from the local authority and health sector, adapting your communication style to suit a range of audiences. You’ll also help us capture and share the impact of the grants, through insights, reports, and storytelling.
The successful candidate will be confident, organised, and proactive, with a strong commitment to community development and inclusion.
The Grant Worker of Wellness Works should be aware of and wherever appropriate work in line with or towards TSL’s strategic goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Support community groups to explore their ideas and develop applications.
· Deliver workshops, information sessions and 1:1 guidance to ensure equitable access.
· Build positive relationships with groups, stakeholders, and partners.
· Act as a link between delivery and stakeholders, including the ICB and local authority.
· Write engaging reports and case studies showcasing funded work.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
To apply the values, policies, practices and procedures of TSL.
To keep up to date with relevant local and national trends relevant to the project.
To collaborate with colleagues in TSL Kirklees on specific and organisation wide activities in order to maximise the effectiveness of the organisation.
To contribute to TSL Kirklees learning and action on equality, diversity and inclusion.
To work flexibly to meet the needs of TSL, carrying out other tasks as reasonably requested.
