Help Group is seeking seeking an experienced Grant Writer to join our development team and help secure funding that advances our mission and strengthens programs serving our community. The Grant Writer will research funding opportunities, craft compelling proposals, and manage reporting and compliance for foundation, corporate, and government grants. This role collaborates closely with program teams, finance, and development leadership and is key to sustaining and expanding organizational impact.   Exciting Responsibilities: * Successfully work both independently and as part of a team to respond to new funding opportunities through the development of persuasive letters of interest, grant proposals, budget narratives and other written communication to potential grantors or donors. * Review Requests for Proposals, organize critical content components and produce convincing copy to secure new funding that supports new program development and expansion of existing services  * Edit and proof all written communication to potential funders or donors; work with other members of the senior management team to adapt tone, style, content or format to ensure all copy is representative of the Agency’s mission, culture and brand. What The Help Group Is Looking For: * Bachelor’s degree in communications, nonprofit management, public administration, English, or related field. * 3+ years of grant writing experience (nonprofit preferred) * Proven success securing foundation, corporate, or governmental grants. * Experience developing programmatic and outcome-focused narratives. * Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities. * Strong research and analytical skills. * Ability to synthesize data into compelling narratives. * Highly organized with strong project and deadline management skills. * Experience in education, mental health, youth services, or healthcare-related nonprofits. * Familiarity with program evaluation and outcomes reporting. * Knowledge of government grant application and reporting processes.
