POSITION SUMMARY

The Grant Writer & Development Assistant is responsible for identifying, applying for, and managing grant opportunities, while also supporting broader fundraising and development initiatives. This hybrid role blends strong writing and research skills with hands-on support for data, events, and donor stewardship. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and passionate about nonprofit impact.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in nonprofit grant writing or development
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent writing, editing, and research skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Familiarity with fundraising CRMs and grant platforms
  • Team player with a collaborative, can-do attitude
  • Commitment to the organization’s mission and values
