BRIEF DESCRIPTION

This position of Grant Writer requires the applicant to source opportunities to expand One Vision Production’s reach. The position involves identifying funding opportunities, writing detailed grants, and sourcing revenue for our growing organisation. The Grant Writer is required to write relevant grants as determined by the CEO and Business Manager. This role is concentrated mainly on writing effective grants and suits a strong writer with experience in the not-for-profit sector. A big part of this role is collecting data and assessing our impact; understanding how we demonstrate the success of our programs is crucial to this role. Please don’t apply for this role unless you have non-profit grant writing experience. This is contractor work to be fulfilled at our Mullumbimby office with flexibility to work from home some of the time. Once successful grants are received, we hope to increase the hours of work in future.

QUALIFICATIONS AND PREFERRED SKILLS

• Proficiency in the use of the Google Drive/Docs Suite
• Monday.com
• Ability to meet strict deadlines
• Demonstration on sourcing and acquitting grants in your previous work
• Display in-depth knowledge/experience of Not For Profit Sector and Grassroots Organisations and confidence to contribute innovative solutions in this sector
• Degree or Higher Education

• Grow OVP’s national presence through engagement with aligned networks.
• Measure and collate OVP’s impact data in coordination with our Project Managers, to demonstrate the impact and success of our projects in your grant applications
• Write grant applications for philanthropy, government and investors, to expand OVP and sustain our projects.
• Broaden OVP’s reach by sourcing opportunities, grants, funding options, and philanthropic investments.
• Generate potential sponsorships, sales leads, and new opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with the Business Manager and CEO to identify worthwhile projects.
• Fulfil grant requirements, incl. acquittals, and showcase the success of programs.
• Utilise the Hubstaff platform to ensure your invoicing aligns with your logged work hours.
