Description

As the Arts Administrator, you will be supporting ongoing international business activities and new business development projects. We are looking for someone who is outgoing and driven to be part of an international team to produce music events and special projects.
Our ideal candidate would have business administration and funding experience in the arts & entertainment industries who is a quick learner with an ability to adapt to a fast-pace multiple project environment. Experience in an administrative setting with demonstrated computer skills is also a requirement.
Your primary responsibilities would be to write annual grant proposals and file reports, monitor, collect, and share project documentation and information, and create and send regular newsletters.
We welcome candidates from Canada. Cover letters and resumes are to be submitted in English. We do not provide visa sponsorship. This is a part time hybrid contract position with occasional in-person group meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years related work experience minimum
  • Post-secondary education or relevant experience
  • Must have experience in business communications
  • Exceptional communication skills (both verbal & written)
  • Strong organization skills, independent self-starter, with attention to detail
  • Experience with ( Word, Excel, CRM, etc.) with ability to quickly learn new software
    Job Types: Part-time, Contract
    Pay: $17.00-$29.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week

Responsibilities
  • Produce various written proposals, schedules, budgets and reports
  • Ensure all proposals are accurate and comprehensive
  • Maintain document delivery and reporting schedule
  • Recognize opportunities and risks, and recommend actionable changes
  • Monitor collect project documents for reporting
  • Liaison with artists, managers, publicists and booking agents, managers, etc
  • Assist in managing and coordinating domestic and international event production
  • Create and schedule regular newsletters
