JOB DESCRIPTION

Scouts SA is on the lookout for a Grants Administrator to join our passionate team and help us unlock funding to support Scouting activities across South Australia. From tents to tech, events to equipment – you’ll be the behind-the-scenes hero making it all happen.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE;

  • Experience in grant administration, fundraising, or community development.
  • A creative mindset with a talent for writing compelling applications.
  • Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines with ease.
  • Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, and everything in between.
  • A collaborative spirit and a genuine passion for supporting youth and community programs.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the full lifecycle of grants – from application to acquittal.
  • Proactively promote funding opportunities across the organisation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to identify grant needs.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide monthly financial tracking and reporting.
  • Provide friendly guidance and support to members applying for grants.
  • Deliver engaging grant and fundraising workshops.
