These three affiliates include: Youth Continuum, Clifford Beers Community Care Center and Mid Fairfield Community Care Center. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: The essential functions of this position include but are not limited to: Prepare invoices and financial reports related to portfolio of grants and contracts Update monthly close work-papers for grants receivables and deferred revenues Prepare budget related materials and supporting documents required for submission to funders including continued funding applications, contract renewals, and budget modifications. Review bi-weekly payroll allocation changes and prepare journal entries to reclassify retroactive changes Update the current list of employees and all allocations by grant/project Record and track the revenue and expenses of each funding source and bring major variances to the attention of the program directors Evaluate processes and procedures within accounting and suggest, implement and re-evaluate for continual improvements Assist Finance Department management in transition work of newly acquired companies Preparing grant budgets and budget revisions, as well as grant reporting Provide support and participate in budgeting and auditing processes Work closely with organizational leaders to meet their accounting needs including processes and procedures, reporting, and communications Other duties as assigned by Supervision Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance required, MBA or Master preferred.
