The Doctoral Training Centre offers 4-year interdisciplinary PhD (DPhil) degrees to students of outstanding quality and provides innovative onsite training for around 100 PhD students per year before they embark on the substantive research phase of the programmes in departments across the University, with collaborative institutions, or with industrial partners, with the funding held and managed by the DTC throughout the 4-years of study.
The DTC is a dynamic environment which evolves organically according to the research landscape, responding to scientific, industrial and social demand.
The Grants and Studentship Manager will be responsible for the pre- and post-award activities of high value and high-profile studentship and industry funding held by the Doctoral Training Centre.
