  • Parramatta or Lismore based role with other locations considered by exception and flexible work options and hybrid arrangements available.
  • Clerk Grade 7/8 salary ($113,574 - $125,720 per annum) plus employers contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Grants Assessment Officer, you will facilitate and coordinate the development and delivery of recovery grants programs, ensuring compliance with the NSW Grants Administration Guide. You’ll provide guidance to applicants, assess applications, and make recommendations on eligibility and funding levels. Your role will also involve advising staff on program guidelines and supporting continuous improvement in grants assessment processes. You’ll prepare documentation for reporting and evaluation, and draft correspondence and briefing notes to support informed decision-making across the department.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Strong understanding of governance and compliance in grants management
