Description:
Infosys Public Services is seeking a Grants Management Consultant to join our team.
POSITION DESCRIPTION (SCOPE OF WORK OR BRIEF NARRATIVE):
Infosys Public Services seeks a Principal Consultant who is a highly skilled and experienced Public Sector Grants Management Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the Grants Management domain and a strong background in public sector grants management IT projects. This role requires an end-to-end understanding of the entire grants management process, from application to closeout.
The principal consultant will perform the following responsibilities:
- Grants Management Domain Expertise: Provide expert knowledge and guidance on public sector grants management processes, policies, and regulations.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of grants management operations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including government agencies, grant recipients, and internal teams, to ensure seamless communication and coordination throughout the grant lifecycle.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and oversee the preparation and submission of required reports and documentation.
- Training and Support: Develop and deliver training programs for staff and stakeholders on grants management systems and processes.
- System Implementation: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of grants management IT systems, ensuring they meet the needs of the organization and comply with relevant standards.
- Data Analysis: Analyze grant data to identify trends, measure performance, and provide insights for decision-making.
REQUIRED YEARS OF EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, TECHNICAL SKILLS, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS FOR JOB PERFORMANCE:
- Minimum 11 years of experience in the Grants Management domain, focusing on public sector grants management IT projects.
- In-depth understanding of federal, state, and local grants management regulations and requirements.
- Grants Management Process and Domain Knowledge, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience with grants management software and IT systems. Knowledge of packages like Salesforce and ERP’s Oracle and SAP will be beneficial.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a foreign equivalent is required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive, relevant work experience instead of every year of education.
The job entails sitting and working at a computer for extended periods. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face-to-face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
