Ō pūkenga/Skills and Experience

As part of the Grants team you will be responsible for the management, consideration and decision making of applications for legal aid in an energetic office environment. You will be providing quality and timely decisions to applications for legal aid and your expert advice will be used to respond to requests for information. You will be required to case manage files and have a strong customer focus in addition to:

  • the ability to apply policy and/or legislation when making decisions
  • good written and oral communication skills
  • the ability to organise and manage applications efficiently
