SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Grants Officer plays a key role in supporting the mission and operations of the Shevchenko Foundation (TSF). This position works collaboratively across all program areas, including Finance and Communications to support the full grant lifecycle, from application to reporting. The Grants Officer also serves as the system administrator for TSF’s grants management database and leads the planning and implementation of any system migrations or upgrades to ensure data integrity and operational efficiency

QUALIFICATIONS

·Post secondary in business administration or communications is preferred.
·Knowledge of the Ukrainian Canadian community and the Ukrainian Canadian arts, heritage and education sectors an asset.
·Computer literacy, including Office 365 is required.
·Demonstrated ability to uphold confidentiality and manage conflicts of interest in accordance with organizational policies and ethical standards.
·Excellent written and oral communications (English required, Ukrainian asset).
·Strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills with a proven ability to identify and resolve problems effectively.
·Demonstrated ability to work independently while adhering to internal controls, policies, and monitoring processes.
·Ability to work Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm with occasional evenings and weekends.
