Position: Graphic Artist – Photography & Design
Location: Toronto
Job Type: 40 hours per week
Time :11am to 7 pm
Pay: $22.00
One of our clients is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Graphic Artist with strong design and photography skills to join their creative team. This role involves working on product packaging, promotional artwork, in-store signage, and seminar video production.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Strong product photography skills, including lighting, styling, and editing
  • Solid understanding of layout, color theory, and visual hierarchy
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Positive, professional attitude with openness to feedback
  • Strong communication skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • 2+ years of experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • 2 years of sewing experience
  • 1 year of crafting experience

Responsibilities
  • Capture high-quality product images for our PMS system
  • Photograph in-store signage, displays, and other branded visuals
  • Support the content team during peak periods by assisting with product or DIY-related photo shoots
  • Design packaging across various product categories, including original graphics and layouts
  • Refresh and rebrand existing packaging to meet updated company standards
  • Create signage and visual displays for retail environments
  • Design patterns, prints, and graphic assets for merchandising use
  • Take ownership of editing and preparing promotional advertising layouts
  • Work closely with the advertising department to ensure visuals align with marketing direction and brand identity
  • Review previous layouts, incorporate product selections provided by the team, and apply supplied images to produce high-quality, effective advertisements
  • Prepare seasonal trend and inspiration boards for internal seminars
  • Edit and produce videos for both spring and fall seminars
