Responsibilities

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

As a Graphic Communication Leader at IKEA, you’ll bring the brand to life visually throughout the store to create an inspiring, clear, and customer-focused shopping experience. You’ll lead the planning and implementation of all in-store graphic communication, aligning with IKEA’s values and commercial goals.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Develop and implement range presentation solutions that connect IKEA’s product offer to customers’ everyday lives, enhancing store layout and media use.
  • Ensure all graphic communication inside and outside the store reflects IKEA’s brand identity clearly and creates strong visual impact.
  • Plan and prioritize graphic materials to support customer self-choice, the mechanical sales system, and commercial priorities.
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Relations, Visual Merchandise, Interior Design, Sales, and In-store Logistics teams to deliver a consistent, visitor-focused store experience.
  • Analyze customer feedback and market insights to continuously improve store communication and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead the development and coaching of the Communication & Interior Design (Com&In) team, fostering knowledge about customer needs, graphic communication tools, and IKEA values.
  • Manage ordering and cost-efficient use of materials for graphic communication, ensuring sustainable and quality-focused execution.
  • Support store business plans by translating commercial goals into visual communication action plans, tracking KPIs, and adapting strategies as needed.
  • Maintain safety and minimize disruption during communication rollouts or store changes, ensuring smooth visitor experiences.
  • Stay updated on retail and design trends, integrating best practices and innovation into store communication
