Description

Purpose:
This is a crucial creative role within the Marketing department, responsible for leading the visual identity of edyn and its portfolio brands. The Graphic Design Manager will oversee creative execution across campaigns, digital platforms, partnerships, and properties, ensuring consistency, innovation and brand relevance. This role includes line management of the Graphic Design Executive and works closely with the wider marketing and property teams.

Location and hours:
Hybrid with x4 days based in the London office. Flexibility is required to travel to our offices or meetings in the UK/Europe.
Our core working hours are 40 hrs per week (09:00 to 17:30), but a flexible approach will be required to support the ongoing needs of the business.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

Core Skills

  • Strong creative leadership and a highly refined visual eye.
  • Excellent Adobe Creative Suite skills (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects).
  • Fluency in video editing tools (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro).
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Confident presenting and explaining design decisions.
  • Familiarity with AI tools that can support the workflow of a designer.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in an in-house or agency design role (freelance-only background not suitable).
  • Previous team leadership experience preferred.
  • Hospitality sector experience is essential.
Responsibilities

Creative Direction & Design Management

  • Lead the development of brand visuals across digital, print, partnerships and environments.
  • Oversee execution of campaign assets, social content, hotel openings, and partner activations.
  • Ensure all design outputs reflect the visual identity and values of Locke, Cove and the wider edyn brand world.
  • Direct and guide external creative partners and internal contributors.

Team Leadership & Workflow

  • Line manage the Graphic Design Executive and provide coaching, guidance and inspiration.
  • Manage timelines, capacity and design workflow in collaboration with marketing leads.
  • Establish processes to ensure creative quality and efficiency across all channels.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with the rest of the Marketing team to produce integrated creative.
  • Support the Senior Marketing and PR Manager in campaign development and hotel activation.
  • Collaborate with property and ops teams to ensure on-site brand consistency.
