Summary The Graphic Design Marketing Manager is a hybrid role that combines creative design expertise with project management and cross-functional collaboration. The role operates in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing multiple concurrent projects across departments and business units. This position plays a key role in maintaining and evolving Greenbrier’s global brand identity, ensuring consistency and impact across all channels and markets. Duties and Responsibilities To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform the following essential duties satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned to address business needs and changing business practices. Design & Creative Execution Develop visually compelling designs for marketing emails, print and digital ads, landing pages, social media, and large-format assets (banners, signage, presentations). Ensure strict adherence to Greenbrier’s brand guidelines, including logo usage, typography, color palettes, and imagery standards. Support branding initiatives for product launches, tradeshows, internal communications, and external campaigns. Project & Process Management Oversee marketing project workflows from concept to delivery, using Greenbrier’s design request process. Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely execution and quality outcomes. Track progress, report status, and manage feedback rounds efficiently. Cross-Departmental Collaboration Serve as the primary point of contact for design and marketing requests from multiple departments and business units. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align priorities, clarify deliverables, and provide clear documentation. Global Brand Stewardship Manage and evolve Greenbrier’s global brand identity, supporting unified messaging and visual standards across international markets. Respect and maintain local brand equity while driving consistency and innovation. Industry Expertise Apply knowledge of transportation and/or freight equipment to create relevant, impactful marketing materials for Greenbrier’s core business areas. Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory requirements affecting design and communications. Qualifications The following generally describes requirements to successfully perform the assigned duties. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or related field. 8+ years of experience in graphic design and project management, preferably in a B2B or industrial setting. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and project management tools (e.g., Monday, Teams). Strong understanding of digital marketing, web design principles, and analytics tools. Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Experience with HTML/CSS for email and web updates. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment serving multiple stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Experience in transportation, freight equipment, or industrial marketing. Familiarity with global brand management and cross-cultural communications. Knowledge of Greenbrier’s products, services, and integrated business model.
