We are recruiting for an experienced Graphic Design Specialist to join our growing team. This role will be based in our corporate head office – Burnaby BC. This is an on-site position.

EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certificate or Diploma in Graphic Design, Advertising, or a related field is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a similar field is preferred.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in a marketing role, with a focus on design, advertising, and brand communication.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience working with social media platforms and digital tools is preferred, with a strong understanding of content creation and performance tracking.
  • Bilingualism in French and English is an asset

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is required.
  • Experience with Canva is required.
  • Experience with Custom illustration.
  • Experience in creating visually compelling designs for a variety of marketing materials.
  • Logo and rebrand experience are an asset; experience in developing brand identities that attract customers and build trust are highly preferred.
  • Experience with email marketing tools such as Mailchimp, ClickDimensions, or similar platforms is an asset.
  • Proven experience as a graphic designer or in a similar role, with a portfolio that demonstrates strong design skills, creativity, and versatility.
  • Solid understanding of design principles, including typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
  • Familiarity with marketing and social media tools, with the ability to design content tailored for various platforms (example: Meta Ads).
  • Knowledge of web design principles and experience designing for digital platforms is an asset.
  • Ability to work autonomously, managing multiple projects with minimal direction, while meeting deadlines and ensuring quality.
  • Must be a self-starter who can take initiative, prioritize tasks, and move projects forward independently.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to clearly present and explain design concepts to both internal teams and clients.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
  • Experience thriving in a fast-paced environment, with the adaptability to shift priorities as needed.
  • Detail-oriented with a conscientious, client-first approach to design.
Responsibilities
  • Execute all design needs for both corporate & clinic marketing, with a focus on creating visually engaging assets that drive patient acquisition and retention.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop high-impact visual content for campaigns, including Meta Ad campaigns, digital ads, social media posts, email newsletters, and website graphics, with a focus on driving new patients.
  • Design and produce visually compelling and impactful presentations and sales collateral for both internal and external audiences, leveraging a deep understanding of advertising design principles
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver designs that meet or exceed expectations and deadlines.
  • Assist in maintaining the digital asset management system to ensure all design files are well-organized and easily accessible for marketing initiatives, allowing for quick, on-brand execution of future projects.
  • Comply with all policies and procedures, ensuring that all design work aligns with advertising best practices and overall business goals of lead conversation as well as our branding standards and patient-first approach.
  • Stay updated on design industry trends, techniques, and tools to ensure designs remain fresh, innovative, and competitive in order to work with the marketing team to incorporate insights that improve both design efficiency and lead conversion.
