Looking for Philippines-based candidates Job Role: Graphic Designer Compensation range: $1,500 AUD - $2,000 AUD / Monthly Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement Reports to: Head of Sales & Marketing (interim: Managing Director) Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the Brisbane business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home. Who The Client Is: An Australian-based sports apparel and teamwear company that partners with clubs, schools, and sporting organisations to deliver high-quality customised uniforms and performance gear. Role Overview: To produce production-ready custom uniform artwork and on-brand marketing creative that supports the company’s sales process and brand presentation. The role removes design work from account managers and underwrites a consistent, premium customer experience across uniforms and digital channels. Key Responsibilities: Uniform design proofs delivered accurately and on time — first concepts and revisions turned around within agreed timeframes with minimal rework, so account managers can present clean, polished concepts to clubs without follow-up cycles. Production-ready sublimation files are right first time — templates, bleeds, Pantone references, sizing, numbering and placement all correct; zero preventable errors that would delay or compromise downstream production. Marketing creative output sustains the social and campaign cadence — supports 3–4 social posts per week plus campaign and promotional work; assets delivered to the Social Media Coordinator in the correct dimensions, formats and timeframes. Brand consistency is maintained across all creative — output is premium, sport-focused and aligned to the company’s brand guidelines across uniforms, social and broader marketing collateral; the brand asset library is kept current and accessible. Account managers are freed from design tasks — design capacity and reliability are sufficient that AMs do not absorb artwork or rework, protecting their time for customer-facing activity Key Interfaces Head of Sales & Marketing (long-term reporting line) Managing Director (interim reporting line) Social Media Coordinator Account Managers Production Team Offshore Manufacturers (artwork specifications) Required Skills and Qualifications: Experience Depth: 3–6 years of experience in graphic design, ideally across sportswear, apparel or consumer-focused brands. Industry Alignment: Sports industry experience preferred, with sportswear/apparel industry experience highly regarded. Design Tools Capability: Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is essential. Deliver on Detail: Exceptional accuracy across artwork specifications — sizing, numbering, Pantone, bleeds, logo placement — with errors caught before files leave the desk. Creative Initiative: Develops original concepts and proposes design directions rather than purely executing to brief; lifts the standard of what the company puts in front of customers. Sportswear & Production Craft: Strong working knowledge of sublimation, vector artwork, 3D mockups and the artwork specifications of offshore manufacturers. Brand Discipline: Stays consistently inside the company's brand guidelines while producing creative that feels premium and contemporary across uniforms and marketing. Put Teams First: Communicates clearly with account managers, the Social Media Coordinator and other internal stakeholders, even across time zones; closes loops on revisions and queries. Act Like Owners: Takes responsibility for the full creative output — quality, timing, file integrity and asset library hygiene — without requiring chasing or escalation. Stronger Every Season: Open to feedback; learns the company brand, customer base and product range quickly; lifts the bar on creative output over time. Portfolio Requirement: Portfolio to be requested during the application process. What Failure Looks Like Basic errors and inconsistencies appear in customer-facing artwork — sublimation files come back wrong, logos sit off-spec, mockups need multiple rounds of revision before they can go to clubs. Design proofs run late, delaying customer order confirmation and dispatch and creating pressure on the production schedule. Account managers are pulled back into design and rework, eroding the time they should spend with customers and partners. Non-negotiables Every uniform design proof and production file is checked for sizing, numbering, Pantone references, logo placement and bleeds before release. All creative output complies with company’s brand guidelines and visual standards. Communication with account managers and the Social Media Coordinator is timely and clear, especially across time zones; queries are closed off rather than left open. The brand asset library is kept current — final approved files saved, named and accessible to those who need them. Work Arrangement & Expectations: This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.
