Location: Sydney Eastern Suburbs, NSW

Pay: $32–$38 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience

Annual Salary Guide: $66,560–$75,000

About the Role

Signarama Bondi, a leading signage company in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, is looking for a motivated, reliable and hands-on Graphic Designer / Admin Manager – All-Rounder to join our team.

This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys being involved in every stage of the signage process, from graphic design and customer service to production, installation support and office administration.

We are looking for someone who can work efficiently in a busy environment, take ownership of tasks, and contribute to the smooth running and growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities

Graphic Design and Artwork

• Create creative, accurate and professional signage artwork.
• Prepare print-ready artwork and production files.
• Use Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and other relevant design software.

Signage Production

• Operate wide-format digital printers, vinyl cutters and plotters.
• Carry out hands-on production tasks, including weeding, trimming, laminating and finishing.
• Assist with general workshop and signage production activities.
• Ensure artwork and finished products meet quality standards.

Customer Service and Sales Support

• Answer customer calls, emails and enquiries promptly and professionally.
• Prepare quotations using the company’s systems.
• Liaise with customers from the initial enquiry through to production and completion.
• Follow up on enquiries and assist with developing new business opportunities.

Administration and Job Coordination

• Handle general office administration and management tasks.
• Coordinate jobs and support production schedules and workflows.
• Maintain accurate job records and assist with day-to-day business operations.

Site Work

• Attend site visits to take measurements and assess signage requirements.
• Assist with site coordination and installation-related tasks as required.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and related design software.
• A good understanding of print setup, artwork preparation and signage production.
• Experience operating wide-format printers, cutters and plotters is highly desirable.
• Practical experience with vinyl application, weeding, trimming and finishing is an advantage.
• Strong organisational, administrative and time-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work quickly and accurately.
• Confident communication and customer service skills.
• A proactive attitude and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a small team.
• Previous experience in the signage industry will be a strong advantage.
