Description
Position Summary Avalaunch is now seeking an experienced Midweight to Senior Graphic Designer to bolster our in-demand, busy creative team. Reporting directly to the Creative Director, this role is perfect for a designer who has experience in taking ownership of high-profile projects and wants to shape the creative direction of nationally recognized brands. This is not a production-only position. We run regular two-day Brand Strategy Sprints with clients where you’ll collaborate on strategy, help lead concept development, and push creative boundaries across digital and traditional media. If you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative agency environment and are eager to leave your mark on top-grade work, this is your chance to put your design know-how and creative mindset into action for clients who need our help. Key Responsibilities Create distinguished, high-quality design work across a wide range of digital and print projects (branding, web, campaigns, infographics, presentations, digital ads, email, etc.). Lead projects from concept to delivery, providing creative direction and ensuring consistency across all touchpoints. Collaborate with project managers, copywriters, developers, and other designers to brainstorm ideas and solve client challenges. Use your accumulated knowledge, confidence, and communication skills to participate in two-day Brand Strategy Sprints with clients, drawing on a strong understanding of campaign ideation, typography, layout, color theory, and design principles, and their effect on marketing efforts. Mentor and provide feedback to junior designers, fostering their growth and strengthening the team’s capabilities. Present and clearly articulate design concepts to internal teams and clients. Stay up to date on design trends, tools, and technologies, proactively pioneering new approaches and service opportunities. Balance multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining excellent attention to detail Qualifications 4–7+ years of professional graphic design experience in an agency or in-house creative team. A strong portfolio demonstrating solid experience in branding and web design. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, XD); familiarity with After Effects or other digital platforms is a plus. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting work to clients. A proactive mindset, ownership of your craft, and a passion for pushing creative boundaries. Benefits Flexible PTO Medical, dental, and vision insurance with FSA options Company-paid life insurance Paid parental leave 401(k) with company match Professional development opportunities 12 paid holidays off
