Description

Position Purpose: This position serves the marketing, events, and communications teams by creating compelling visual representations that communicate the heart and mission of Global Awakening. The role supports the production of print and digital assets, ensuring brand consistency and excellence across all channels, including web, email, social platforms, and publications. The goal is to inspire, inform, and engage the audience through creative and impactful design.

NEEDED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Agreement with the Global Awakening Statement of Faith and Core Values.
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field from a college or art school (or equivalent work experience).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of creative work and design styles.
  • Two to three years of graphic design experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
  • Strong understanding of layout, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate artistic concepts.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-moving environment.
  • Demonstrated Christian character and commitment to the mission of Global Awakening.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director and Media team to design and produce visual assets for communications media, including web graphics, brand materials, video assets, social media graphics, merchandise, and print designs, from concept to completion.
  • Assist the Creative Director in supervising, coordinating, and prioritizing graphic design projects to ensure a unified concept and adherence to branding guidelines.
  • Develop concepts and overall design for visual representations in collaboration with the Creative Director and Media production team.
  • Consult with clients to discuss content, style, audience, techniques, and budgetary considerations.
  • Prioritize and organize projects with the Creative Director and clients to meet agreed-upon deadlines.
  • Provide graphic design input, including sketches, samples, and proof-ofconcept pieces, to ensure functionality and alignment with branding and concept requirements.
  • Create and prepare all necessary artwork and graphic elements for each project, ensuring timely completion.
  • Review design samples with the project lead, suggesting or approving changes based on marketing guidelines, branding, and trends.
  • Utilize work management systems (e.g., Asana) to track and update project progress with collaborators.
  • Develops all necessary artwork or graphic elements for each project. Ensure that all necessary elements are prepared in a timely fashion to ensure completion by deadline.
  • Reviews sample from graphic design department with project lead and suggest or approves changes based upon marketing guidelines, branding and trends.
