Atlas Roofing Corporation is seeking a Graphic Designer, located at the Atlanta, GA corporate office.
The Atlas Marketing department is seeking a talented and experienced graphic designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their expertise in graphic design and have experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role requires a creative thinker who can translate complex ideas into visually compelling designs that align with our brand identity and marketing objectives.

Graphic Designer Primary Responsibilities

  • Design and Production: Create high-quality visual content for various marketing materials, including brochures, advertisements, social media graphics, and website assets.
  • Brand Management: Ensure consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across all design projects.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product development, and sales teams to understand project requirements and deliver effective design solutions.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines.
  • Innovation: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate new design techniques and technologies to enhance our visual communications.
  • Manage a wide variety of design jobs and assets.
  • Maintain and create process for literature updates and graphic assets
  • Work with design agencies to utilize existing digital asset manager (DAM) for document storage and retention
  • Create new processes to manage editing and updating existing documents.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Travel: less than 25%

GRAPHIC DESIGNER EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in the manufacturing or construction industry.

GRAPHIC DESIGNER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • High-level attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain design concepts to non-design stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Microsoft Office suite and Apple
  • Experience with other design and presentation programs, including: PowerPoint, Keynote, Canva, Unlayer, etc.
  • Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design.
  • Project management skills to organize a fast-paced, busy slate of projects.
  • Experience managing creative agency activities.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong command of design.
  • Resourcefulness and ability to find and analyze pertinent information.
  • Critical thinking with a solutions-oriented mindset and good self-awareness.
  • Strategic thinking to develop goals and priorities.
  • Commit to standards of moral and legal conduct.

GRAPHIC DESIGNER EDUCATION, LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design skills and creativity.
